Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education
About the Project
Numerous public institutions in the European and world environment state that the participation of youth in European and world society is completely desirable and, even more, necessary. This participation is based on the so-called Civil Society Organizations; youth target organizations to join the decision-making social bodies in each of the various civil sectors: youth, culture, society, sports, etc. For this reason, the CSO Admin project wants to train young people in the management and operation of these Organisations.
The CSO Admin project comes to alleviate the problem of lack of necessary and sufficient training so that, precisely, young people have access to the creation and management of Civil Society organisations and to provide a solution through training and a collaborative platform through which young Europeans will be able to obtain information and horizontal training in their careers, regardless of the studies. Thus, the need for Youth to have the training to be able to face the tasks of a CSO will be satisfied when they find it, not only as an optional subject, but they will be able to view the necessary help or ask for it by accessing the collaborative tutoring platform.
Objectives
The overall objective of the CSO Admin project is to improve the European Society by supporting youth CSOs, while the specific one is to offer training aimed at the creation and management of CSOs. In order to achieve this, a MOOC on the Creation and Management of a CSO will be developed, as well as a collaborative tutoring platform to promote the creation and management of CSOs. Apart from that, dissemination events will be held in each country of the partnership to inform, train and promote the project and its results. Besides, there will be a non-formal training course to introduce the MOOC to the target group and teach them how to implement it in their activities.
Project Results
– An open and free MOOC on the Creation and Management of a CSO
– A training course for trainers to learn how to help young people on creating and managing a CSO, as well as how to use the MOOC in their courses
– A Collaborative mentoring platform to promote the creation and management of CSOs
