Finance and Office Administrator- Job description
The Finance and Office Administrator will support the management of the projects of SEAL CYPRUS and will work in our offices in Nicosia next to the Director of the organisation, Ms Anna Dalosi.
The Finance and Office Administrator will:
Perform standard book-keeping, accounting and office administration tasks.
Create and update spreadsheets.
Maintain reports on financial metrics.
Manage payments, review and process reimbursements.
Monitor the cash flow.
Prepare reports and collaborate with external Auditors’ firm.
Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow).
Monitor timesheets of the staff.
Develop and monitor project budgets.
Monitor Grants and payments to and from international project partners.
Support the project management of international projects.
Prepare financial and administrative reports for projects.
Make data entry and processing of all project-related financial and administrative information.
Arrange logistics (hotels, flight tickets, meeting rooms, catering) for meetings and training events.
Provide support to the Project Managers and the Project Officers of the organisation.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience required
MUST HAVE
Good knowledge of ZOHO Books online accounting software.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions and pivot tables).
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and MS OneNote.
Experience in online management and collaboration tools.
Excellent knowledge of the English language.
Availability to travel.
Confidentiality.
An eye for detail.
Strong organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Time management and capacity to work under deadline- related pressure.
Competence to work individually and within the team.
Proven work experience in Finance and Office Administration.
TO BE CONSIDERED ADVANTAGEOUS
Advanced knowledge of MS Access.
LCCI Accounting Intermediate or Higher or equivalent qualification.
Experience in the financial management of projects funded by Grants from international
organisations (EU Commission, EEA & Norway Grants) will be considered advantageous.
